California Privacy Addendum

This California Privacy Addendum supplements the Privacy Policy of Credit Vault LLC and applies to California residents and, where applicable, California businesses.

1. Notice at Collection

We may collect the categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy, including:

• identifiers;
• commercial information;
• internet or electronic network activity;
• professional or employment-related information;
• geolocation data derived from IP address;
• inferences drawn from the foregoing;
• sensitive personal information only if submitted through the Service or required for account administration; and
• other information permitted by law.

We collect and use this information for the business and commercial purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including service delivery, account administration, security, support, billing, compliance, and analytics.

2. No Sale or Sharing

To the extent applicable, Credit Vault does not sell personal information for money. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law, except as disclosed in this Addendum or in the event our practices change and we update our disclosures accordingly.

3. Service Provider / Contractor Treatment

Where we process personal information on behalf of a business customer, we do so only for the limited business purposes of providing the Service and subject to our contractual obligations, including any applicable DPA and instructions from the business customer.

4. Business Customer Responsibility

If you are a business customer using the Service to manage your own customers' information, you are responsible for:

• identifying the correct legal basis for collection and use;
• providing any required notices at collection;
• honoring consumer rights requests;
• ensuring your sharing of information with us is lawful; and
• using the Service only in compliance with applicable law.

5. Consumer Rights

Subject to applicable law, California residents may have the right to:

• know/access personal information;
• correct personal information;
• delete personal information;
• opt out of sale or sharing, if any;
• limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and
• not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising rights.

6. Verification and Authorized Agents

We may require reasonable verification before responding to a request. If you use an authorized agent, we may request proof of authorization and verify your identity or authority directly as permitted by law.

7. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit use except as permitted by law or as necessary to provide the Service, secure the Service, or perform services reasonably expected by the user.
